FAQ
Q:
What if I do not want a "reseller" hosting
account -- if I just want to host my own domains?
A: Sure. Whatever is fine with us ... there are no restrictions
how you use the reseller web space, none except misuse:
Q:
What if I run out of web space?
A: You can always add a second reseller plan or update
to the next larger account.
Q:
Who provides customer service for my hosting customers?
A: You do. The reseller control panel allows you to
access all domains. Add and delete domains, MySQL databases,
e-mail boxes, adjust space, etc. 123-Web-Host
will be responsible for the general technical maintenance
of the server.
Q:
How do I bill my customers?
A: If you do not have any solution set up yet, by far
the best, easiest and fastest (immediate) solution seems
2CheckOut
which integrates a shopping cart (you may not even need
that for Web hosting services) with a credit card processing
system in one package. They
do have a one time $49 setup fee, but there are no further
monthly fees (quite different from most other billing
services!). Those with much of their customer base outside
the U.S. may want to have a look at WorldPay,
BIBIT,
and SWREG.
You may also consider to add PayPal,
but might loose prospective hosting customers if only
offering PayPal. For an actual merchant account with
lower per sale charges and no application fee check
out Electronic
Transfer, Inc.
All these credit card processing solutions work well
with 123-Web-Host reseller hosting plans.
Q:
Do you offer any other hosting platforms, e.g. Windows
servers?
A: All our servers run RedHat Linux. But in addition
to Plesk we also offer cPanel
/ WebHost Manager (WHM) reseller hosting plans.
Q:
What if I decide one day not to be a Web hosting reseller
anymore?
A: Web hosting is a very lucrative business. But in
such a case we will be more than happy to take care
of your customers. Details can always be worked out.
